And we’re done. Almost 500 backers, over 1,000 copies of the book pre sold and about $40,000 raised. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart for being a part of this adventure. 18 months after walking from my first book deal, this just fills my sails. You no longer have to wait to be chosen. Choose yourself. We’re lucky to live in a time when we can, and it’s a squandered opportunity to do any different. Alright, it’s time for me to go drink a celebratory Hendricks & Tonic then start heading north to Fargo and continue handcrafting some books and art for you.
I’m convinced Kickstarter makes people do crazy things. I should sue them. #11minutes
It’s kind of fitting that I’m in Topeka for this moment. Three months ago, I was stranded here, wondering how I was going to continue the journey. Today, on the last day of the Kickstarter, we break $35,000 and pre-sell over 1,000 total units of my book. #victorylap
Video calls just sold out! Only 2 personal deliveries left. I’m willing to go just about anywhere for the last one, try me. :) (at PT’s at College Hill)
In Topeka, closing out the Kickstarter. Only 5 hours to go. :) (at PT’s at College Hill)
